Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees comprises:

1. The following leading economic and agricultural organisations, consumer groups and German federal organisations who are involved in the work carried out by RAL:
   • Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie e. V. (BDI) – The Federation of German Industries
   • Bundesverband Großhandel, Außenhandel, Dienstleistungen e. V. (BGA) – German Wholesale and Foreign Trade Federation
   • Bundesvereinigung der Kommunalen Spitzenverbände (Deutscher Städtetag) – Federal Association of Municipal Umbrella Organisations / Association of German Cities
   • Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft e. V. (DLG) – The German Agricultural Society
   • Deutscher Gewerkschaftsbund (DGB) – German Trade Union Confederation
   • Deutscher Handwerkskammertag (DHKT) – Association of German Chambers of Skilled Crafts

4. Four ordinary members of RAL who are elected by the AGM for a term of 4 years in each case. These are currently:

   • Güteschutz Kanalbau e. V.
   • Gütegemeinschaft Flachdach e. V.

In addition to the members of the Board of Trustees named above, other members can be elected for a term of four years in each case as follows:

1. Up to five members from important consumer and industry groups not represented on the Board of Trustees
2. A member from each of the following sectors:
   • Economics
   • Advertising industry
   • Business press
   • Radio/television
