New RAL Quality Mark for Tempered Single-Pane Safety Glass (ESG-HF)

Glass is required to withstand high stresses in many cases. Tempered single-pane safety glass (ESG-HF) carrying the new RAL Quality Mark is particularly resistant to shock and impact and is stored at high temperatures for many hours after production. This means that its resistance to breakage can be reliably tested. If the glass panes survive the tests undamaged, they only have a very low risk of spontaneous breakage and are thus extremely stable.

Updated requirements for the RAL Quality Mark for Plastic Window Profile Systems
